Re: NORC help please.

Hello everyone . I’m looking for some suggestions.

we are planning entering the NORC.

my wife and I would like to leave from Vegas on the Monday following to a conference for her work. Then, after 3 weeks or so, I will return from Europe to Vegas and take the car home while she flies directly home to St Louis to return to ( shudder) something called work.

is there a place, other than long term parking I could secure the wagon, or, if it’s built in time a C8?
I hate leaving the car at the airport filled with race gear computer etc.

if anyone is familiar with Luke AFB, is there a place to park long term? I’m retired from the AF and can get on base.

any suggestions??

The phone number for Luke AFB Outdoor Recreation is 623-856-6267. They manage a lot for RVs. If their outdoor lot doesn't meet your requirement they will probably have some suggestions.

How about reaching out to the Las Vegas Vettes, they do a lot to help run the SSCC event, and they are super nice! Someone might have a spare garage space they would let you use.

I don't know a specific contact for them, maybe someone reading this will know.

You might try Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. Closer than Luke. Also, Loves Truck stop just north of Las Vegas on the way to Ely has a large, new covered vehicle storage area. Looking forward to meeting you, and best of luck.

As a side issue, please check in to joining a team. It is great fun and you even save a couple of bucks.
