George - Problem is you gots 3 camshafts too many.

Time to get a Pantera! See ya in September home boy...buyers are paying triple digits now for a Pantera so I may not be able to afford to sell mine to you slackers much longer

Mad Dawg bringing 4 Pantera's next month. We could bring 5 or 10 again or more..... but my peeps are like WTH are vintage teams from Porsche, Vette and Ferrari? Challenge has been out there for 20 years....okay call it 30...sounds better.

just sayin'

See ya in September home boy

MD,

I was thinking about getting a Pantera when I bought the 928.  But I heard there was a problem when you put the kids in the back,  they got a little hot...  Now the kids are grown, but I already have enough cars to keep me busy.

I think with the rising prices on most "collectable" cars, there's more "Show and Shine" types then racer types owning these cars.  On the car forums there are more questions about what to use to clean your car and what's the time period correct part for this aftermarket piece then what races to run or which tires work at high speeds.

Anyway, look forward to seeing you and all those Italian Fords next month.

Well George hope to see you soon either here in Vegas or in Ely .     O

Owen,

Hope to see you also.  If you're still working the course, I can bring the camcorder and tripod again.  I should be going to Las Vegas after the race since Bill (ex-navigator and crew) moved to Phoenix, that's on the way home for him.

All - We have an entire generation of X-Y kids who don't know what plugs and a condenser are or don't know how to change a tire  Because every mfg since 70's have black boxes now. Not a bad thing but when your old man said back in the day "go get plugs and a condenser and a power valve for your Holly double pumper" you didn't need a lap top or a chassis dyno.  Just sayin

George - On classic car prices....yea guys I know with old cars are now restoring them and are no longer driving them let alone racing them. . . unless its to the local "Coffee & Cars" hang out. Sign of the times I quess. Glad to see even one old 40+ year old classic running a track event or an ORR event....Its a field of Japanese imports, mostly late model Vettes, Mustangs and Camaro's....Not a bad thing but all out numbered by the new imports.

On a place for the kids?  That is what the bed of the pick up is for
