Re: Hooker's Choice @ Stardust Ranch
Terry, You'll never get a straight answer out of these guys so you might as well not try. The Stardust ranch is a modern facility that moves a lot of beef. The cowboys and cowgirls there use a new technique of "hooking" the stock instead of the old method of Heading and heeling. You know, where one guy ropes the head and another lasso's the feet, they stretch out the cow and work it over. Now they do it with a Hooker. The boss sends out a "hooker", and she sidles out into the crowd of...

Dogman, Call Joe at Mustang Ranch,www.mustangranch.biz, they built mine and Tracys motor. Both make killer power for $$$ invested and you can trust them. My wimpy little 4.6 is pumping out 600RWHP on a mild tune. In my two stellar runs down 318 this year and my run at the Pony (up and back)the motor ran great. Good luck!

Thank you for the quick replies. It is very much appreciated. It is for an 86 Suburban four wheel drive. I use it to get to the ranch and for towing. The 86 engine is a one year only (leaking head gasket and 183k miles), and was hard to find. Expensive to rebuild. So purchased an 89 engine, 190 psi, 50 psi oil. But the bolt pattern for the intake is slightly differnt. Heard mixed opinions about putting an after market or Police Caprice intake four barrel on the 89 engine. Havent done this...

New Addition to Friday Night
Over the years many of our participants have concocted some strange, but exciting, innovative ways to enjoy themselves and interact with each other. These events (for lack of a more descriptive word) are outside the sanctioned events sponsored by the SSCC Board. With that said, we always want to make sure all our participants know what is going on in Ely for their enjoyment. This September Ray Alexander is hosting a BBQ on Friday evening in the new patio area adjacent to the Stardust Ranch.
