Hi Julie and Wally, Neither the start nor the finish are exactly on mile markers anymore. Here are a couple of my measurements that might help: Start 0.000 County Line sign 9.402 LN-14 83.571 LN-10 87.590 LN-8 89.572 Finish 90.000 Blue has published some Rookie Notes that show slightly different mileages (see attached). Good luck!

You might try Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. Closer than Luke. Also, Loves Truck stop just north of Las Vegas on the way to Ely has a large, new covered vehicle storage area. Looking forward to meeting you, and best of luck. As a side issue, please check in to joining a team. It is great fun and you even save a couple of bucks. Bob

We'll be there in May but enered only in the "social" class, which we understand that you can enter as long as you can open a beer can with one hand, which I've become very good at. So far I've been unable to find a replacement 500 HP twin turbo that has an automatic trans or electric shift on the right side of the steering wheel. I have found replacements for the Coors and the cooler so,...... See ya in May, Pappy

Join Jane's team Second, inside your glovebox, you may be able to use existing screw points (like for the hinge or lock etc) and mount a plate to it that has a flat surface outside the glovebox when closed.. then you drill holes in the GPS and that pate to your heart's content. We mounted a Terratrip 303+ like this in a 968... no problem.

As I recall, the original BoD approval was for a team comprised of import cars for which there was not a marque specific team (ie no Porsches or Panteras to name 2). As it happened, there were a few foreign drivers in the team as well (myself, Dean Albrecht, Sheldon Enns and Joe Ellis among the official members and Jane among the race day ring ins) but we were all coincidentally driving imports. I think it would be good to expand the field to include foreign drivers in whatever they race,...

The lights on the christmas tree illuminate at a consistent rate and our challenge is to anticipate that rate and start our watches on time (if we're...

Boyce, I wholeheartedly agree with Nat: if you are well prepared and have the situation under control, you will set your driver at ease. He'll probably be asking some questions like "what's over this hill?" If you give him accurate information when he needs it and tell him the turns at the right time, he'll concentrate on driving instead of second-guessing you, and you'll bring out his best driving. Going the other way, with him driving well, this will set you at ease and you will be able to...
