Reply to "30th Anniversary SSCC Event to Feature a Father vs Son 155 Class Battle"

Gee, Malcolm, you have a great point.  Of course, Barbara and Jacques were only 0.0931 seconds slow in May, so they may not have much to worry about - they seem to have their own machine gun.  To be fair, I did tell Barbara that I would be running 115 in case she wanted to school you guys in 150 instead ...

Anyway, the answer to your question (why 115?) is complicated.  I have this ridiculous conceit of wanting to win every speed class from 95 through 160, and I'm hoping to target the 115 class next.  If successful, then I can sell the NSX (and the trailer and the tow vehicle), and campaign the M5 or some other bone stock car in the 105 and finally 110 classes.  That would mean that my wife and I could move to a more sensible smaller house, have fewer vehicles, and simplify our lives.  So Val is rooting for me to do well.  Of course, if Mad Dawg wanted to sell me his gorgeous Pantera, I might reconsider....  Guess we'd need a smaller house with a 10-car garage.  Or a 10-car garage with an attached cottage.

So that's the embarrassing answer.  Maybe Barbara and Jacques will take pity on me.
